I walked into Barnes and nobles today to study as usual, I wondered on my way in if they sold notebooks there. I needed a notebook for my new job as a scribe in the Emergency Department, which is a whole other topic to divulge into at a later date. Scanning through the aisles to the left of the front entrance, I came across an assortment of crossword puzzles. “Oh, how nice!” I thought to myself and BOOM, a book titled “BIBLE WORD SEARCH, Psalms” caught my eye. This really intrigued me and it was only $12.95, I was sold! Great thing is when I sat down to get some work done before checking out, I saw on the front it was on sale for $9, even better. Finally now I’m home, cozy in my futon bed (that’s a story for another day) while smooth jazz music plays on the Alexa. I decide to do a crossword as I wind down for bed, the scripture this puzzle is center around is Psalms 3:1-7
“1 Lord, how my enemies have increased! Many are rising up against me.
2 Many are saying of me, “There is no help [no salvation] for him in God.”Selah.
3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory [and my honor], and the One who lifts my head.
4 With my voice I was crying to the Lord, And He answered me from His holy mountain. Selah.
5 I lay down and slept [safely]; I awakened, for the Lord sustains me.
6 I will not be intimidated or afraid of the ten thousands. Who have set themselves against me all around.
7 Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have shattered the teeth of the wicked.”
I haven’t opened my physical bible in a few weeks, I’ve been in a rut and struggling to get in the physical word. This is CRAZY to me because I know the clarity and presence I feel when I do read my physical bible. So today I’m back to carrying my physical bible around with me everywhere and I’m excited about that. I wanted to share this new cool fun way that I discovered to reconnect with Jesus. Our God is not a boring God. lol. Okay Tashi out. Goodnight Folks! 🙂
